Plans are billed monthly in Australian dollars through Stripe. A new subscription starts with a 7 day free trial, and unless you cancel before it ends it converts automatically into a paid subscription at the price shown when you subscribed.
Stripe. Card details are entered on Stripe's own checkout page and are never sent to, processed by, or stored on our servers — we hold a Stripe customer reference and nothing more. Stripe is a PCI Service Provider Level 1, the highest certification in the payments industry.
Yes, at any time from the billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period you have already paid for, and your alerts and API access keep working until then. Nothing renews after that.
No. Cancelling stops the next renewal rather than refunding the period you are in, so the sensible time to cancel is whenever you decide, not at a particular point in the month. This does not limit any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law, which we cannot and do not exclude.
Yes, from the billing portal. A change part-way through a month is prorated, so you pay the difference for the days remaining rather than a whole extra month. One thing to know: changing plan while you are still in the free trial ends the trial immediately and starts billing.
In the billing portal, which keeps your full invoice history and lets you download any of them. You can also update your card, and change the name, email, address or tax ID that appears on future invoices.
The account moves to past due and you get a seven day grace period to fix the card, during which alerts and the API keep working. After that the API returns a 402 until the subscription is reactivated, which you can do yourself from the billing portal.
Yes. Checkout collects a card up front so the subscription can convert without interrupting your alerts, but nothing is charged until the 7 days are up, and cancelling inside the trial costs nothing.
