The service

Insolvency Alerts collects notices published by ASIC at publishednotices.asic.gov.au and matches them against the companies you tell us to watch. By subscribing or using the API, you agree to these terms.

Subscriptions and billing

Plans are billed monthly, in Australian dollars, through Stripe. New subscriptions start with a 7 day free trial. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, it converts automatically into a paid subscription at the price shown on the pricing page when you subscribed. You can cancel at any time from the billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period you have already paid for, and you keep access until then.

Your account and API key

Your API key is issued once, at checkout, and is yours to keep secret. You are responsible for requests made with your key. Tell us if you think it has been exposed, and we will help you replace it.

Data accuracy and delivery

This is the part of these terms that matters most, so we are saying it plainly.

The notices behind this service are sourced from ASIC’s published notices. We collect and republish them; we do not create, verify or edit them. ASIC’s own sitemap runs roughly a day behind real events, and our collector reads from it on the same rhythm, so what you see reflects what ASIC has published, not necessarily what happened today.

Delivery is best-effort. Alerts are sent by webhook, signed and retried automatically if your endpoint does not respond, but delivery can be delayed, and an endpoint that stays down long enough stops receiving retries until you reactivate it. Coverage is not complete either: some notices fall outside our watch matching, for example a company identified only by an ABN that ASIC’s own register cannot resolve to an ACN, and the underlying ASIC data has known gaps that we describe in our API documentation.

For these reasons, this data, and any alert built on it, must not be the sole basis of a credit decision. Use it as one input among others, and confirm anything material against ASIC’s own published notice, which we link to from every result.

Acceptable use

Use the service for your own credit and risk monitoring, or a client’s, not to build a competing public notice search product from our output. Keep the source link (source_url) attached to any notice you show to someone else, the same way ASIC asks of anyone using its published notices.

Termination

You can cancel your subscription at any time. We can suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, misuses the API, or does not pay.

Liability

The service is provided on an as-is, as-available basis. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses arising from a decision made using data from this service, including a missed or delayed alert.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Australia.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will update the date at the top of this page.
